Add Hatch Styles

You can add new hatch styles to your catalog and you can add hatch styles from an open project to you catalog.

To Add New Hatch Styles to Your Hatch Style Catalog

1. To open the Catalog Manager, select the Catalog tab. Then click the Catalog Manager button . The Catalog Manager dialog box comes into view.
2. Click the Add button and select Hatch Style.
3. Select the type of hatch style that you want to make. The Catalog Item pane shows the properties that you can edit for each hatch style.
• Parallel Line Hatch Styles
• Offset Hatch Styles
• Spiral Hatch Styles
• Perpendicular Line Hatch Styles
4. Edit the properties of the hatch style. If it is necessary to cancel your changes, click the Discard button .

5. Click the Add button to add the hatch style to your Hatch Style Catalog. By default, the Catalog Manager adds the new hatch styles to the My Hatch Styles folder.
6. Click Apply to save your changes to the Hatch Style Catalog.

To Add Hatch Styles from an Open Project to Your Hatch Style Catalog

1. To open the Catalog Manager, select the Catalog tab. Then click the Catalog Manager button . The Catalog Manager dialog box comes into view.
2. On the Catalogs pane, from an open project, select the hatch style that you want to add to your hatch style catalog.

3. To add the hatch style to your hatch style catalog, do one of these procedures.
• Click the Add to Catalog button .
• Drag the hatch style into one of the folders in your Hatch Style Catalog.

4. Click Apply to save your changes to the Hatch Style Catalog.
